Handling and storage
Do not store in close proximity to strong oxidizers. Unopened containers should be protected from direct rain, snow or sunlight. Seal partially used containers to protect from contamination or absorption of moisture (which can be detrimental to product quality and per-formance).

Use D-Foam-R C 740 is a silicone containing antifoam that provides easy incorporation and excellent compatibility in water based inks and coatings. D-Foam-R C 740 gives quick knock down and excellent stamina, particular in high speed, high shear applications. It is very effective for control of microfoam.

D-Foam-R C 740 may be used in incidental food con-tact applications in compliance with 21 CFR 175.105 or 176.210.

Application Methods:

D-Foam-R C 740 is appropriate for use in pigment grinding or coating let-down. Typical use concentra-tions are between 0,1 and 0,4% (on total coatingweight). 

When added in the let-down step, best per-formance and compatibility results are generally ob-served after aging the finished ink or coating for at least 8 hours. As with any defoamer, formulators should evaluate a range of concentrations to determine the optimum dose.
