D-FOAM-R C732 is an economical silicone containing antifoam that provides easy incorporation and excellent compatibility in water based inks and coatings. D-FOAM-R C732 gives quick knock down and excellent stamina, particularly in high speed, high shear applications. It is very effective for control of microfoam.
D-Foam-R C732 may be used in incidental food contact applications in compliance with 21 CFR 175.105 or 176.210.

Application Methods:
D-FOAM-R C732 is appropriate for use in pigment grinding or coating let-down. Typical use concentrations are between 0.1 and 0.4% (on total coating weight). When added in the let-down step, best performance and compatibility results are generally observed after aging the finished ink or coating for at least 8 hours. As with any defoamer, formulators should evaluate a range of concentrations to determine the optimum dose.

Handling and Storage:
Do not store in close proximity to strong oxidizers. Unopened containers should be protected from direct rain, snow or sunlight. Seal partially used containers to protect from contamination or absorption of moisture (which can be detrimental to product quality and performance).
